Conquest & Territory FAQ
How does territory conquest work in Traclli?
Start a run in the Traclli app with GPS enabled. As you run, your path is tracked on Google Maps. When you return near your starting point and close the GPS loop, the area enclosed by your route is automatically claimed as your territory and painted with your custom profile color.
Why didn't my run claim an area on the map?
An area is claimed only when your GPS route forms a fully closed loop (start and end points connect). If your run was a straight line (out and back) or if GPS signal was lost mid-run, the polygon cannot be closed. Ensure your route forms a complete circuit.
Can other runners take over my territory?
Yes! Traclli features a competitive live city leaderboard. If another runner completes a GPS loop that overlaps or surrounds your claimed territory, their loop will claim or cut into your land. Keep running regularly to protect and expand your domain.
GPS & Tracking Troubleshooting
What should I do if GPS tracking is inaccurate or stops recording?
To ensure smooth GPS recording:
1. Location Permissions: Set location access to "Always Allow" or "While Using the App" with Precise Location enabled in iOS/Android settings.
2. Battery Saver: Disable Battery Saver / Low Power Mode for Traclli to prevent background location throttling.
3. Clear View: Give the app 5-10 seconds to acquire satellite signal outdoors before tapping Start.
Does Traclli work offline without cellular data?
Your device's GPS hardware records coordinate points offline during your run. However, an active internet connection (4G/5G/Wi-Fi) is required when finishing a run to calculate territory polygons, sync claimed areas with Google Maps, and update city leaderboards.
Account & Profile FAQ
How do I change my username or map color?
Open the Traclli app, tap your avatar to open Profile Settings, and tap Edit Profile. Here you can update your display name, handle (@username), and select your custom territory map paint color.
What sign-in options are available?
Traclli supports secure registration via Email & Password and Google Sign-In, both powered by Firebase Authentication for industry-standard security.
Privacy & Data Security FAQ
Is my real-time location shared or sold?
No. Your location coordinates are processed strictly to record your activity and render claimed territory polygons on Google Maps. We do not track your location outside active runs, and we never sell personal or location data to third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Account & Data Deletion Request
In compliance with Apple App Store Guidelines, Traclli provides users with full control over their account data and the right to permanently delete their account.
Option 1: In-App Account Deletion
1. Open the Traclli app on your mobile device.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion. Your account profile, authentication token, and claimed territories will be permanently removed immediately.
Option 2: Direct Email Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, you can request account deletion by sending an email from your registered email address:

Upon receiving your request, our support team will permanently delete your account, authentication records, and map territory data within 7 business days.
